Reverse engineering

Broken part? We can bring it back.

Discontinued, out of stock, or snapped in half — if you can send us the part, a photo, or even just measurements, we can model it in CAD and print you a replacement. Often stronger than the original.

Before & after

A real example

A customer needed a bracket that could no longer be bought. We modeled it from the original and printed a drop-in replacement.

Customer's original bracket that needed replacing
Before

The original part

No longer sold by the manufacturer — replacing the whole assembly was the only option.

After

The 3D printed replacement

Modeled in CAD from the original, printed in tough plastic, and back in service.

Process

How a repair job runs

STEP 01

Send us what you have

The broken part, photos of it, or a sketch with measurements — any of these work.

STEP 02

We model it in CAD

Measured and rebuilt digitally — and the design files are yours to keep.

STEP 03

Fit check

For critical fits we print a test piece first, so the final part fits the first time.

STEP 04

Printed & delivered

Final part in the right material for the job — local pickup or shipped.

Good candidates

When this saves the day

Appliance knobs, brackets, and clips the manufacturer no longer sells. Trim pieces and mounts for older vehicles, boats, and RVs. Jigs and fixtures your shop depends on. Parts where the OEM replacement costs more than it should. And parts that keep breaking — we can often reinforce the weak spot in the reprint.
